Welcome to the Burnbank Hamilton Bowling Club website.
We hope you enjoy browsing around and we hope to keep things up to date with what’s going on at the Club.
Burnbank Hamilton Bowling Club was formed in 1951 and forms a single green and a modern single storey clubhouse with car parking to front and rear. Outbuildings provide locker areas for members and visitors alike. We are located off Hillhouse Road, Hamilton (opposite the Jock Stein Sports Barn).
The green is a first class bowling facility regarded by many as one of the best in the county and is a very well maintained surface.
The club has around 130 members who compete in a variety of competition throughout the season.

William Taylor Gents President 2012
The 2012 season opens on 14th April 2012, and sees us enter another season with high ambitions. Michael Docherty will represent us in the Scottish Singles this year following his championship victory last year and I’m sure our top team will look to compete better in the leagues. Our Division 2 League team have another tough task in trying to gain promotion to Division 1 but will do all they can. Our Division 10 team (promoted last year) will have another tough test but we do have a lot of strength in that team and they will be looking to do well again this year and our third team in Division 19 will be looking to compete too.
May Foye Lady President 2012
Lots to look forward to throughout the season and please keep your eyes posted in the locker rooms where all events and competitions are posted. We will also try and post as much as we can here too as the season progresses.
If you are new to the area or have considering joining a local club, why not pop along some evening or contact B.H.B.C. Admin here. This site is relatively new but the “Contact Us” section will soon include an application form but for the moment an message there will start the ball rolling. We can also arrange for someone to introduce you to the facilities should you wish to visit. New members are always made welcome.
Our club has a lot of history over its 60 years in existence and we hope to add to that this year.
Best Regards
B.H.B.C. Admin
